Who We Are
We are a diverse multi-generational congregation. We are young, retired, married, single, divorced, remarried, parents, grandparents, and single parents. Some of us are new to faith in Christ. Others have followed Jesus all our lives, and some of us are just exploring what it means to follow Jesus. None of us have all the answers or have it all together. We are simply trying to do our best to learn more about Jesus, be more like him daily, and help others find the life only Jesus can give.
Each Sunday our desire is create a safe place for people of all ages and backgrounds to hear the message of Jesus and connect to the life only he can give.

A Place Call Home
We want to provide a place every week where people can experience the life-changing presence of God, connect with encouraging people, and leave ready to make a difference in their community.
Our History
As a church we never want to forget our story. We believe that remembering and communicating our story keeps our focus on what God has called us to do. When we look back and remember all that God has done to launch Bridge it gives us faith for what we know God wants to do through Bridge in the future.
In the Old Testament God taught the Israelites the important of sharing their story.
Deuteronomy 6:20-26
20 “In the future, when your son asks you, “What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees and laws the Lord our God has commanded you?” 21 tell him: “We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. 22 Before our eyes the Lord sent signs and wonders—great and terrible—on Egypt and Pharaoh and his whole household. 23 But he brought us out from there to bring us in and give us the land he promised on oath to our ancestors. 24 The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. 25 And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.”
Knowing our story and history will help you connect to our purpose and focus. While pastoring in Pennsylvania the Holy Spirit spoke out of Isaiah 58:12 to Pastors Bob and Stephanie that their ministry focus would be to help people rebuild their lives and community. They assumed this focus was for their church in Pennsylvania but God has other plans.
On August 21, 2015 Pastors Bob & Stephanie Hulett sensed God speaking to them to return to Cape Coral, and plant a church with one simple focus, “To connect people to the life only Jesus can bring.” After continued prayer, counseling with trusted mentors, and tangible confirmations, the Hulett’s clearly knew God had called them to plant Bridge Community Church.
On February 11, 2016 Bob & Stephanie Hulett received approval from ARC (The Association of Related Churches) to be an official ARC Church Plant. Along with three other families from Pennsylvania they transitioned back to Cape Coral and in June of 2016 held their first Interest Meeting.
With the help of 34 Dream Team Members, Bridge its first service on January 29, 2017 at Mariner High School. In the fall of 2018 we will be moving to a permanent location at 79 Mid Cape Terrace in Cape Coral.
While the story is just beginning, lives are being changed and people are connecting to the life only Jesus can bring.
Our Focus

Our Why
Bridge Community Church exists so that people can know Jesus and connect to the life only He can give.

Our Values
Our values keep the “why” of Bridge Church clear and at the center of all we do. They create and protect a Jesus honoring and people loving culture.
We tell everyone we meet about Jesus. HE IS THE GOOD NEWS! Jesus came to connect us to the life we long for, the God who created us, and to fill each day with hope no matter how difficult it is. We invite them to church and help them find the life Jesus came to give each of us.
We don’t go to church we are the church! That is why we come early, often, and serve regularly at our Sunday worship gatherings. We are excited to join with other members of the church to worship so we sit close, sing loud, and are excited about what God is doing at Bridge.
We believe people are the worlds most valuable resource. God loved us so much he left heaven to become one of us so we could be in relationship with him. Every Sunday we want everyone; our guest and regular attenders, to feel valued and appreciated.
We will be known as a community of givers, not takers. Our leadership, staff, and congregation, will give sacrificially to the work of God in our community and world.
We will honor God with ridiculous faith and obedience. We will take every step humanly possible to obey what God has spoken to us through his word, prayer, and his Holy Spirit living within us.
We extend honor in our conversations and actions to those over us, alongside of us, and to those who serve under us.
We speak positive words of hope, life, and faith as we declare the Good News of Jesus. We believe our words help create the culture of our life. We will create a culture of life and faith that honors God.
